Memory Wallks at the Southbank Centre for Changing Minds Festival

A collaboration with Luke Sturgeon

A series of walks through emotions we
might all experience but don’t yet exist
in our vocabulary; Kenopsia, Anecdoche,
Sonder, Onism, and Monachopsis, written
by John Koenig. Each walk introduces one
of these emotional states, whilst creating a subtle and temporary feeling of being out-of-place.
For the Changing Minds Festival at The
Southbank Centre this project aims to
highlight the individual ways that we experience and perceive the world. By following a pre-recorded path through a location, paired with binaural sound, we immerse the viewer in a past experience whilst simultaneously and temporarily removing them from the present.

As this is an on-going project please contact here for the link.
Take-away cards that describe the emotion of each walk.
